In depth

Verdict

William Du Berlais arrives on a hat-trick but has gone up a further 8lb since winning at Tipperary and may struggle to confirm earlier running at Killarney with Mindsmadeup, who is 11lb better off for under seven lengths. Jockey bookings suggest Top Of The Town will be the pick of Gordon Elliott’s trio but he has run poorly in his last three runs over fences. Wexford winner Adimelo tackles a handicap for the first time over the larger obstacles and probably need to improve again but Templemore Dream looks progressive and is worth a second look. LASOSCAR (NAP) looks well handicapped back over fences and seems to get on well with Denis O’Regan. He was quietly fancied for a Grade B handicap at Punchestown in the spring but fell at the first - a clear round should see him in contention here.
