Verdict

Balinaboola Steel got off the mark at the 19th attempt at Wexford last month and followed up on the same track on Saturday when always looking in command. He's up 9lb so this is tougher though Conor Orr's claim is a major plus. WALK ME HOME (NAP) was having only her fifth start and stepping up in trip when slamming her rivals in a 3m handicap at Wexford last month. Not surprisingly, she's been hit with a 13lb hike in the weights but is only a five-year-old and has plenty of scope for further progress. Mick Charlie went up 9lb for a comfortable victory over 2m4f here and couldn't quite cope at Killarney. He's been raised another 3lb and steps up in trip but Golden Apples looks a staying type and can step up on last month's run over 2m4f here, her first since March. Lee Valley Legacy looked one to follow when scoring twice over 3m at the beginning of the year and would be a threat if ready after a break.
