Verdict

In good form here in the spring, Arctic Ambition was second back over fences at Cartmel after wins over hurdles at Limerick and Ballinrobe and is one for the shortlist today. Good As Hell was a ready winner of a strongly-run race at Tipperary last month when Mica Malpic was only third. But the latter got taken off his feet that day and is 8lb better off here and racing over a more suitable trip. MR SAXOBEAT didn’t get far on his handicap debut at Galway eight days ago but he still has time on his side and is sailing in calmer waters here. The Dasher Conway was third in a Listed chase at Killarney after winning at Tramore and is also respected.
