In depth

Verdict

This is much stronger than the first division with Willie Mullins' newcomer Rayapour, a winner on the Flat in France, likely to attract attention. Palm Beach, a winner on heavy ground on the Flat, has been expensive to follow over timber but a last-flight error put paid to his chances at Punchestown last time and this looks a good opportunity to get off the mark over timber. However, winning point-to-pointer MISS TEMPO ran on strongly when runner-up in a 2m4f bumper at Wexford and, in receipt of 9lb, looks the one to beat on her hurdling debut. Henry Star was suited by stepping up to this sort of trip at Cork and looks certain to go well while Craic Eile has run in some decent maidens and will be fit from a run on the Flat.
