Verdict

Gordon Elliott won this last year and RIVERSIDE CITY (NAP) can repeat the process despite falling at the first at Down Royal. His earlier victory at Downpatrick had come in a better race than this and he can recoup losses. Malt Gem has been confined to hurdles after his victory over fences at Gowran and he looks reasonably treated as does Triplets Joy, who found 2m3f too short when favourite at Wexford last time. Perfect Promise has been highly tried since her victory at Thurles and she'll appreciate more rain while Western Promise looked ready to win again soon with a close third at Fairyhouse last month.
