In depth

Verdict

Phoenix Rose, the only four-year-old in the line-up, has run some good races but disappointed at Listowel last time. Crevelea Lass was returning from a very long break when an excellent third to Amazon Warrior at Wexford and should be competitive with normal progress. Haventabobphil made very good progress last season and would have a chance second to none if fit enough after a long break so the market is best watched. Queen Of Hardship is inconsistent though she does prefers quick ground while Rowanville Lady made a decent hurdling debut at Wexford. SISTER STEVE showed nothing in three maidens last year but made a very promising handicap debut behind the experienced Banna Man at Roscommon ten days ago, form that should be good enough for this.
