POWERFUL TED made a successful debut in a bumper and, though well beaten in all three starts over hurdles, has done very well since reverting to the Flat, landing a Fairyhouse maiden and finishing a close third in a premier handicap at Leopardstown in September. He could be thrown in for his handicap debut over timber. Toms Courage comfortably landed a Thurles handicap last month and only just failed to defy an 8lb rise at Cork so should go well from just 3lb higher. Dawson's Cottage was in good form last summer, scoring on his reappearance over the track and trip in June before suffering an injury when well supported at Punchestown in September. A long absence won't be a problem while Rock On Seamie makes a quick reappearance after a good run at Limerick last week where he only weakened from the last and Bold Emperor ran his best race for a while at Fairyhouse. Back On The Bridle was engaged in the 3.55 here yesterday.
