In depth

Verdict

Double Windsor is the only distance winner but is on a long losing run and is better over fences. Electricitywork has never won in 14 starts over timber though had dropped to a fair mark when runner-up at Down Royal and Hugh Morgan's claim is a plus. Land Jet did better when placed at Gowran but has never raced beyond the minimum trip and this is a big step up. ESTHERS MARVEL was narrowly beaten over the track and trip in October and made a very encouraging return to action at Limerick last week when just outpaced on the run-in by Mr Bercow. A repeat would see her difficult to beat though Four Horsemen also finished second in the first division of that same handicap so has to be considered a threat. Short Story Long was only just behind when the selection finished runner-up here in October and, if ready after a break, should get into contention.
