In depth

Verdict

DOWD'S ANGLE has the ability to win a race of this nature though he hasn't been seen since a close second at Tramore in April. He was having his first start since September on that occasion so he has no problems racing fresh and this looks his chance. Cheyenne Girl easily won a bumper here in July and was having only her third start over hurdles when a strongly fancied favourite at Sligo. She fluffed her lines, however, and trailed home a long way behind so maybe best watched for now. Bunnenaugh has made good progress to land a couple of point-to-points but Fast Exit has been disappointing after threatening to win on several occasions.
