In depth

Verdict

Chavi Artist is better than the form figures of his last two runs imply and he had a run on the Flat on Friday but his chances of conceding weight to GALVIN appear very slim. The latter, rated 148 after just four runs over fences, ran a superb race in a Listed handicap at Cheltenham where he may have finished closer to Imperial Aura but for his rider dropping his whip. He'll be at short odds here but cannot be opposed with stable companion Make My Heart Fly set for the runners-up spot. A winner at Kilbeggan, she fell at Sligo before a good fourth in a Clonmel novices' event that has worked out very well.
