Verdict

Hairy Molly has won only one of her 16 starts over fences which is a poor return for such a talented individual though she did run very well behind Polmar at Punchestown last time. Jewel Of The West was having only his second start over fences when beating Indian Pace at Gowran and though likely to make further progress he is up against it against these seasoned handicappers. Old Si ran well behind Coolcashin at Punchestown and races from the same mark in this lesser grade but POWERSTATION gets the vote despite the fact he has yet to prove himself over fences. A high-class staying hurdler who landed a Grade 2 at Leopardstown in December and finished third in the World Hurdle at Cheltenham, he has a chase success to his credit and races from a mark around 30lbs lower than over timber. Sky's The Limit and Oodachee are regulars in these events and both could make their mark at their best.
