Verdict
SCHELM won this a year ago and has generally run well at a similar level subsequently. He has to concede weight all round and Bahrain Storm, who got off the mark over fences at the third time of asking at Tipperary and has since run on the Flat, looks a dangerous opponent. The veteran Ponmeoath won a tough Cork handicap in March and will have been put straight with a run over timber at Limerick earlier this month, but Echo Bob doesn't win often enough and Sir Frederick returns from a very long break.
