Verdict

Patrick Mullins rode last year’s winner and will fancy his chances again aboard Ballinrobe runner-up Pipers Meadow. Carnet De Stage was second in a Limerick maiden hurdle in March and then hampered when falling at Cork. He is interesting making his bumper debut but HOME BY THE LEE looks a likely type for a race like this. Joseph O’Brien’s Fame And Glory gelding is a full brother dual bumper winner who also won over timber and the yard are capable of getting one ready at home.
