TEXAS SUN looked as though he would improve greatly for the experience when placed at Down Royal and the runner-up has won subsequently to boost the form. Giulia Frasi looked a likely future winner when runner-up at Fairyhouse but didn't produce that form at Naas where she gave trouble at the start. Zoffman ran very well in a mile maiden at Bellewstown and was staying on over that trip in a tough Naas handicap next time. A Shin Undine ran poorly at Down Royal last time but Compere is a newcomer to note being by Gleneagles out of a mare who produced a winner with her first offspring. Milestone Payment cost £400,000 as a yearling but makes his belated racecourse debut.
