Verdict

Joseph O'Brien holds a strong hand with ONAMERIDANCE and Corky. The former stepped up to 1m2f at Down Royal and won a handicap by eight lengths and though hit with a massive 16lb rise is probably still well handicapped. Corky has done well since taking on handicap company, finishing a close second at Leopardstown and beaten less than two lengths in a huge field at the Curragh. Secret Sea landed a Tipperary handicap before a far-from-clear run at Ballinrobe and her rider's claim should see her in contention while Venice Biennale has been racing in Listed company since easily landing a Navan maiden last May.
