In depth

Verdict

BUNK OFF EARLY has been something of a talking horse throughout his career but he's very talented when getting it right and ran a fine race back over hurdles at Punchestown. He's only had two runs over fences, falling two out when in the lead at Gowran in January, and has a chance here to get his career back on track. His stable companion Pravalaguna could be exciting over the bigger obstacles as she's been a slow burner since joining the yard from France and was impressive over hurdles at Punchestown when Le Martalin was a long way behind. Dr Mikey is making his chasing debut but arrives in excellent form having made all over hurdles at Cork while Hardback has done well over timber and his pedigree suggests he could be even better over fences.
