Verdict

MON COEUR made a very encouraging debut in a huge field at Punchestown in April and started favourite here the following month but found little after travelling well. A stronger test of stamina would play to his strength and he's taken to see off Moresby Buoy, who kept on at one pace when beaten nine lengths at Tramore. Jody Townend's presence on Fruit Hill catches the eye and her mount is related to several winners while Brookie is probably better than we saw at Fairyhouse.
