Winning form around this idiosyncratic track is always a plus and INTERCESSOR could not have won more smoothly when cruising home over course and distance a week ago. He has a 5lb penalty as a result but will prove a tough opponent if delivering a similar performance. New Heights is a decent handicapper at this level and can usually be relied upon to run his race as reflected by his consistent form profile this term. He does drop back to this trip though for the first time since May last year. Daphne May has been rather low-key on recent starts and One Step Beyond has landed all three career successes, two of which came last month, on an artificial surface.
