Verdict

COURAGEOUS KNIGHT has been a beaten favourite on all three starts but two of those defeats came in desperate photo-finishes and this may be the day he goes one better. He is more experienced than all rivals which could count for plenty around here and Charlie Appleby also applies first-time cheekpieces to the Dubawi colt. Both Acotango and Kingdom Of Dreams were not beaten at all far last time and further improvement can be anticipated from the pair. Camusdarach is an interesting newcomer for Team Johnston and jockey bookings would suggest that Italian Lover, a son of Caravaggio, is stable preferred of the Charles Hills duo of newcomers.
