Tintoretto has been struggling for form for quite a while but is steadily coming down the ratings and the De La Sayette claim affords him his best chance for some time, although there is a concern that he never looked comfortable at any stage when last of 15 here on his latest start. Jim Boyle muddies the waters by running half the field, of which OTAGO makes most appeal if he doesn't dwell too long at the start and launches his finishing challenge somewhat earlier. Hopefully there will be a decent pace for him to chase. Flame Of Freedom has not been at her best this season but is down to a mark of 79 as a result and Buick is booked, whilst Starshiba returned from a fallow period when just inched out at Ayr over this trip earlier in the month and has a major chance if building on that improvement.
