In depth

Verdict

The reason given by the stable representative for the fluent success of Toronado Grey at Kempton was that the winner appreciated the return to an all-weather surface, so it will be interesting to see how the Moore charge applies himself back on Turf. Eton Blue is solid but also probably where the handicapper wants him to be and Night Of Luxury is maybe still finding his feet on Turf on what is just a third start on the surface. Wisper is enjoying a fruitful campaign and could well have more to come but does step up significantly in class here and it will be interesting to see how she handles the upgrade. GANGWAY receives weight all round and makes quite a bit of appeal as an improving three-year-old now tackling his elders in receipt of weight all round and William Buick booked.
