In depth

Verdict

JIVING JERRY (NAP) has won around here and also scored at Galway and Punchestown subsequently. He had Ena Baie just behind for the latest of those victories and has slightly the better of the weights. Elegant Lass, who is rated on the bottom rung on the Flat, has won three times over hurdles including by 10 lengths at Tipperary a fortnight ago for which she's 11lb higher. Bythesametoken is up to winning this at his best and was racing in better company here last time but Cousin Harry, who was in cracking form in the spring, has been looking a few pounds high.
