Verdict
ESPION DU CHENET has won around here and looked in fine shape when scoring at Punchestown in May with Unexpected behind. He had little chance against the long odds-on Easy Game at Listowel but was by no means disgraced and can take this. Defan hasn't exactly been consistent but was very impressive at Ballinrobe though he's up 10lb and was ridden by a 7lb claimer so this is much tougher. Ferdia has been very consistent but hasn't won for a year and has been beaten off this mark the last twice.
