Verdict

John Gosden has saddled two of the last three winners of this prize and though today’s renewal has been divided, BRESSON (NAP) will be popular as he was unfortunate to run into a smart performer at Newmarket that has advertised the form in the interim. Classic appropriately holds an entry in the Derby and is from a family that the trainer knows particularly well. Lenormand holds no such fancy entries but he was far from cheap when sold to Godolphin as a yearling while Tarjeeh hails from a stable that notched a high profile double at the weekend and Seattle Time went into many notebooks on his debut at Salisbury.
