Verdict

Alan King has been saddling winners under both codes so it would be no shock to see Sea Sylph bounce back after a disappointing run at York. Country Pyle eventually got off the mark at Goodwood and may find winning a good habit to be taking up but it appears significant that Andrew Balding is stepping SPRING GLOW back up in trip and the trainer has done well with his stayers this term. Perfect Alibi gets a fair bit of help with the weight-for-age allowance and this appears a far more realistic opportunity than last month’s tilt at the Queen’s Vase.
