Verdict

A big field but LA PRIMA DONNA is likely to be a very warm order. Runner-up to Glan in a Grade A handicap at Fairyhouse, she didn't quite get the run of the race in a very competitive Grade B at the Punchestown festival and should lose her maiden tag here. What An Ocean ran well when runner-up at Tramore though was beaten ten lengths so a bigger threat may emerge in the shape of Still Ciel, a full-sister to the very useful Skyace and a comfortable winner of a point-to-point at Boulta in November. Dual point-to-point winner Rockanrye may prove best of the remainder.
