Verdict

Balladiene ended the last campaign with a cracking run at the Curragh and began this season with a fine victory at Gowran last week for which a 5lb penalty shouldn't be enough to prevent another big run. Gra Geal Mo Chroi would be better suited to more testing condition but would be a real threat if the rains arrive. El Toreros has steadily improved and produced a very encouraging run behind Orafinitis at Gowran last week. He looks certain to get competitive but may have to give best to SPIN OF A COIN. Edward Lynam's charge showed his first sign of form at Gowran earlier in the month when coming with a late burst to finish a very close third to Cheers Buddy. He was impeded at a crucial stage that day and with better luck in-running can take this.
