In depth

Verdict

Tiger Sam ran poorly on soft ground at Wexford but his two victories have come on good ground so he should do better. SIR JACK YEATS made a successful debut over fences at Tramore in August and has since been confined to hurdling where he's been in good form. He has plenty of scope and with Davy Russell booked looks the one to be on. Na Trachtalai Abu finished runner-up in this a year ago with Curragh Golan back in third and has been in winning form over timber so he should make a bold bid to go one better. Ocean Glandore was nowhere near his best at Downpatrick after a fine effort at Punchestown where a close third would put him right in the frame for this.
