Verdict

Das Mooser won a point-to-point in great style then beat a decent field in a Punchestown hunter chase so looks a nice prospect, a remark that also applies to Freewheelin Dylan after his victory in a hunter's event at Listowel. Both are taking on better class opposition here with Sea Light having overcome a bad early mistake to score at Clonmel and likely to improve further. Potters Point has come up against some smart performers since making a winning start over fences at Fairyhouse and with the longer trip sure to suit looks certain to be there at the finish though may find CONRAD HASTINGS too good. The latter looked to be struggling on his chasing debut at Kilbeggan but stayed on very powerfully to go clear in the final stages of that 2m4f event and tonight's trip should see him in an even better light. Static Jack makes up the line-up and he's been running well enough to make his presence felt in an interesting contest.
