Verdict

The Boylesports Hurdle winner Citizenship ran in tough handicaps after his Leopardstown triumph and was fancied to make a winning return to the Flat back there last month but found the 1m4f trip too short. Darenjan, six times a winner on the Flat, was chasing when last seen in October and has an entry in the Galway Plate while Knockcroghery is 7lb higher than when just managing to hang on over 1m6f at Bellewstown earlier this month. FARANADOONEY went into that latter event with a favourite's chance after scoring over hurdles at Listowel but didn't quite fire on the heavy ground. He's given a chance to prove that running all wrong on what should hopefully be better going. Super Sonic Boom has been showing nothing over hurdles while Hangar Five just can't get his head in front on the Flat or over timber and has now gone 20 runs without a win.
