        Verdict

        Barnhill Rose has been in good form and gained her second victory of the season at Roscommon a couple of weeks ago, just hanging on by a short-head with PALLASMORE LASS a further head behind. The revised weights give the latter the edge here and she can finally get off the mark. Leviosa was narrowly beaten at that same Roscommon fixture while Golden Freckle made an eye-catching handicap debut at Limerick where she would have gone close but for suffering interference. Chimeric gained his first victory on Turf at the 26th time of asking at Gowran but a 9lb rise may prevent a follow-up.
