Verdict

Special Ted made a promising start at Fairyhouse in April and started odds-on when sent to Ballinrobe the following month but couldn't handle Tower Bridge. That was a slightly disappointing effort but there should be more to come and he can see off the more experienced Scheu Time, who has been running well against decent opposition but looks as though he needs further. However, both look vulnerable and a chance is taken with the newcomer CHESS GRAND MASTER. Joseph O'Brien's charge is a son of Galileo out of a Group 3 winner over 7f so he should have Flat speed which may prove crucial.
