Verdict

Enigma Code won the opening race on the card last year off a 13lb higher mark and, though badly out of form, returning to this track could spark a revival. Big Bad Lily unseated her rider at the start last time but had previously been going well, though she's 9lb higher than when scoring at the Curragh in June. Mr Bounty's only victory came on Polytrack and he hasn't been running as well on soft going over further. It wouldn't be a surprise to see him bounce back but BLISTERING DANCER looks the one to be on. Pat Flynn's charge was well supported on his favoured soft ground at Sligo and made all over the 7f. He's been raised 6lb but still looks on a fair mark and Pat Smullen has been booked. Elusive Gent would have a chance from this lowly mark though a strike-rate of 1-40 doesn't inspire confidence.
