Verdict
WAQAAS has a huge amount in hand according to official ratings. Placed in a Class 2 handicap at Ascot in October, he ran poorly back there in May, his only start this season. He doesn't look one to take a short price about on his debut for Jamie Osborne though the opposition looks moderate in the extreme with the exception of Royal Admiral, who looks the obvious threat under Jamie Codd. He's improving and was narrowly beaten over this trip at Tipperary before just failing to last out an extended 1m1f in a Gowran handicap. His stable companion Mzuri makes a quick reappearance after a fair run at Naas on Monday though that was over 1m4f and a strike-rate of 0-38 says it all. Muroor has been in cracking form over hurdles but it's difficult to imagine him winning over this trip.
