In depth

Verdict

Teddy Boy was beaten a neck on his only start here and is back on the same mark as his latest victory. Samrogue came good in no uncertain terms at Cork in July, scoring by three lengths from today's rival Florence Thompson who will be 12lb better off. Caesar's Comet ended a very long losing run at Bellewstown and has performed quite well here in the past but it's about time TAMMANY HALL was doubling his winning tally. He couldn't get close to Hodd's Girl at Naas, with Tawaazon just behind, but his previous run at the Curragh puts him in the driving seat. Arcanears and Aleksey Tolstoy are others to consider in an open-looking handicap.
