Verdict
The in-form Royal Scholar would be an obvious contender if getting a run in what looks a competitive handicap. DREAM TODAY ran a fine race when a close second to his smart stablemate Harry's Bar at Dundalk from a 12lb higher mark than here. That was over 6f but he stayed on well so looks the one to beat. Monzoon has been going well without quite getting there but Jamie Codd's presence in the saddle is a huge plus while Eloquent Arthur, a dual winner in the UK, gained his first success for new connections at Killarney though another furlong wouldn't have gone amiss. Mary Salome has been in excellent form all summer and, though she's 7lb higher than her victory at Bellewstown, her rider's claim aids her cause.
