In depth

Verdict

DESTIN D’AJONC (NAP) has improved with experience over fences and was a relatively easy winner at Chepstow last month. He’s been raised the almost-obligatory 7lb but it will be a surprise if he’s beaten. Brianstorm was very disappointing at Doncaster after finishing second at Exeter but it’s possible that the second run came too quickly. Corri Lindo won over hurdles here in December but is now 0-6 in chases and has only placed once. Somekindofstar did win over fences at Market Rasen in December but is 9lb higher now.
