Verdict
ISLAND BRAVE (NAP) looks the one to side with in the opener. Heather Main’s charge won a conditions' race over course and distance in December and both placed horses have subsequently won. He also beat Who Dares Wins, Stargazer and Carnwennan on that occasion and the former pair have since filled the places at Wolverhampton. Notation has done all her winning so far at Southwell and steps up in trip while Cosmelli arrives out of form, Jedhi has been hurdling and Rare Groove hasn’t raced since 2019.
