A wide open handicap here and many would have chances on their best form but the principals look to be Rancho Cucamonga,Manic, Jennverse, and Bens Georgie and the narrow vote is given to Manic. The selection was a fair second behind Doitforreel last time out and with this shorter trip looking to be in her favour she is taken to regain the winning thread. Rancho Cucamonga rates the main danger as she won well last time out when beating Norcroft but she needed all of the six furlongs on that occasion and under her penalty and on a return to the minimum trip she looks vulnerable. Jennverse is another that could go well on her best form but she has been tried over a variety of trips of late without success so can not be put forward with any confidence. Bens Georgie is another with place claims on her latest second behind Banjo Patterson but she looked one paced on that occasion and is another that may be seen to better effect over this longer trip. Of the remainder Molly Dancer is from a shrewd yard and could go well at a price but in a race where stakes should be kept to the minimum for the winner we return to Manic.
