      Verdict

      Thunder Flash had only a neck to spare over third Lednikov here nine days ago and is a pound worse off. Mahanakhon Power beat a subsequent winner at Musselburgh in May but has reverted to type since while Marie Paradis was a disappointing favourite at Redcar after winning over this trip at Wolverhampton. EDDIE THE BEAGLE was only a length behind a subsequent easy winner when third at Salisbury. The fourth has since gone close at Epsom and Lewis Edmunds’ mount is just preferred to Ham And Jam, blinkered after stepping up on previous efforts when fourth at Salisbury.
