In depth

Verdict

Mister Lucky, Dowlleh and Doctor Brown are three against the field in this maiden and the vote is given to Mister Luck. The selection was a fair eighth in a better race behind Lord Theo, he is sure to have learnt from the experience and given nominal improvement with the drop in trip sure to suit he looks the one to be on. Dowlleh rates the main danger on his best form but he was very disappointing for no apparent reason last time out so can not be put forward with any confidence. Doctor Brown is another that could go well as he is a Dr Fong gelding, half-brother to winners up to 7f and should be noted in the market. Of the remainder Sir Sandicliffe is a Distant Music gelding out of a once-raced mare and is another that could go well but in a race where the market will be very informative for the winner we return to Mister Lucky to put his experience to good use.
