Verdict
Lunar Sovereign gets the confident vote in the opener with Soviet Sceptre and Veverka rating the main dangers. The selection was a good second behind Present Oriented last time out, that form has since been franked and although he found little off the bridle that day this is a poor race and under conditions that suit he is taken to score. Soviet Sceptre rates the main danger on his latest third behind Templet but he looks a short runner and is passed over for that reason. Veverka is another that could go well as he won well last time when beating Peddlers Profiles but he looks on a higher enough mark for his handicap debut and is passed over for that reason. Of the remainder Panthers Run is game and consistent and is sure to run his race but he looks as if he will be suited by further while Peeyoutwo would have chances on his best form but consistency is not his strong point and for the winner we return to Lunar Sovereign.
