Verdict
Master Rex, Golden Crusader and Goldbrook are three against the field in this tough race to call for punters and the narrow vote is given to Golden Crusader and the vote is given to Master Rex. The selection was a good second behind Rookery Lad last time out, that form looks rock solid in the contest of this race and off the same mark he is hard to oppose. Golden Crusader rates the main danger as he won well last time out when beating Longstone Boy but this looks more competitive and his penalty may just find him out. Goldbrook is another that could go well on his latest second behind Lunar Crystal but he is rising in the weights for getting beat and is opposable on that basis. Of the remainder Rooster's Reunion looks weighted to the hilt while Don Fernando was a fair sort at his best and could improve for the fitting of first time blinkers but for the winner we are happy to return to Master Rex.
