Verdict
Chess Board, Nike Walker and Beauchamp United are three against the field in this novices hurdle and the vote is given to Nike Walker. The selection was well fancied on his debut when fourth behind That Look on his debut, that form has since been franked and with that experience behind him and the softer ground sure to suit he will;l be hard to beat. Chess Board rates the main danger as he won at a mile and a half on the flat and hails from a yard in form but the suspicion is he will be seen to better effect over a longer trip and is passed over for that reason. Beauchamp United has placed form over 12 furlongs on the flat and could improve for the fitting of a first time tongue tie. Of the remainder 1 Psycho Cat is another that showed ability on the flat but he looks a dubious stayer and with this in mind for the winner we return to Nike Walker to put his experience to good use.
