      Verdict

      Marie Josephe was just touched off when attempting to secure back-to-back victories at Windsor last month. Italian Heiress wasn’t beaten far on her handicap debut at Newmarket and has shown enough to suggest she can win a race like this when eased a few pounds. Rayaa was only beaten a short-head over course and distance last time and Brief Visit won this last year as a three-year-old and is only 2lb higher. MESHAYKH (NAP) looked ready for a step up in trip at Windsor last time. She won over a mile here in May and a short break will have helped Sir Michael Stoute’s filly to mature further.
