Verdict
A small field goes to post for this novices hurdle and it looks to rest between Mr President, Vrubel and Bestam and the vote goes to The selection was a fair third behind Jonanaud on his only run last season. He has reportedly strengthened up through the summer and under Mr President.conditions that suit he is taken to score. Vrubel rates the main danger as he has improved on the flat of late but he has had breathing problems in the past and the combination of soft ground and a stiff track may find him out so he is passed over on this occasion. Bestam is another worthy of respect he showed a modicum of ability on his hurdling debut and was a 90 rated performer on the flat and is likely to improve so he is worth noting in the market. Of the remainder Not Amused is from a yard in top form and is one to note in the market but for the winner we return to Mr President who should handle the conditions.
