Galley Law and Sriology are both recent winners and should go close in their follow up bids, but Witchcraft has put in some sound efforts in defeat recently and gets the verdict. Derrick Shaw's four-year-old is having his first outing on turf, but has shown enough on the all-weather to suggest he can land a small race. The six pounds he receives from the two previous winners may prove decisive and he looks the one to be on despite the slight concerns about the surface. Galley Law landed a similar race to this at Southwell, beating Haunt The Zoo. He was well beaten on his only two outings on turf so there are major doubts about him. Sriology came good at Yarmouth last time, beating Show Me The Lolly a shade comfortably. If he runs up to that form again he will be hard to keep out of the places. Best of the others should be Sion Hill, but Witchcraft looks the pick today.
