        Verdict

        Baker of Oz, Samuel Charles and Lyca Ballerina are three against the field in a competitive opener and the vote goes to Baker of Oz. The selection won well last time out when defeating Pango and with conditions again in his favour he is taken to win again. Samuel Charles rates the main danger on his latest fourth behind Balekief but his best form is over a mile and for that reason he is opposed on this occasion. Lyca Ballerina would have a chance on her best form but she was very disappointing at Newcastle last time out so can not be backed with any confidence. Of the remainder Override won well last time out on the AW when defeating Meelup but he will do well to give weight and a beating to the selection Baker of Oz.
