        Verdict

        A good quality renewal of this Group 2 contest can go to Sahool, whose Ribblesdale effort gives her a narrow edge over New Morning if they both run to form. Summitville is weighted to reverse form with Danelissima and she also has to be brought into the calculations if the rain holds off sufficiently for her to do herself justice on the ground. Out of the rest: Pongee handled the course very well when scoring in a Listed race when she was last seen out and is consistent enough to merit a second look for each-way players. While Hidden Hope was far from disgraced behind a couple of these at Royal Ascot and should at least confirm Cheshire Oaks superiority with Si Si Amigo, who looks up against it in this company. However, they will all have to go some to peg back Sahool if she again sets out to make every yard again today. This galloping track sure to suit her style of running and, as a filly that has improved with every run to date, she can finally gain some just reward for her previous efforts in defeat. Her second to Ouija Board in the Pretty Polly Stakes has also taken on added credence after the Ed Dunlop's charge romped away with the Vodafone Oaks. And it will take all the guts and courage possessed by New Morning and Summitville if they are to master Sahool today.
