Verdict

A high draw can help Blessed Place reverse form with Foley Millennium, who, along with Laurel Dawn and Mynd are expected to give the selection the most to do. That said, Viewforth has gone well here in the past and is better than his recent form would have you believe. The speedy Sharp Hat has also proved that he is no back number at this level and can do his bit to ensure there is no hanging about through the first couple of furlongs. However, he has lost a little of his edge and could again find himself playing for places when the pack close in near the line. This could be where Blessed Place will be doing his best work and he can gain some compensation for a couple of near misses of late. The four-year-old has shaped as if his turn is not too far away and he can exploit the gaps in a race that may just unfold to suit him.
